Part B covers diabetes-related supplies and services — glucose monitors, test strips, lancets, screenings, and foot exams — but generally does not cover injectable insulin itself, except when delivered through an external insulin pump. Part D covers insulin and related delivery supplies like pens, syringes, and needles.
